- Xylitol (15%): A natural sugar alcohol that helps fight cavity-causing bacteria and disrupt plaque formation for better cavity protection
- Glycerine: Helps retain moisture and maintain a smooth toothpaste texture
- Purified Water: Acts as the base of the formulation
- Xanthan Gum: A natural thickening agent that provides consistency and easy application
- Citric Acid: A naturally derived preservative commonly found in citrus fruits

Yes! But encourage your child to spit out as much as possible to build good oral care habits.. That said, toddlers swallow up to 65% of their toothpaste even when they rinse-which is why we built Ethiaspire with only six food listed ingredients.

While fluoride is an effective anti-cavity agent for older children and adults, it is not considered safe to be consumed by young children. Because toddlers under 3 frequently swallow toothpaste, fluoride-free formulations are widely recommended for this age group.
How is the packaging different?

Most toothpaste tubes are made of plastic laminates that can't be easily recycled. Ethiaspire uses a recyclable aluminium tube with a unique biodegradable plant-based cap (first of its kind!), packed in a box made from 100% recycled fibres and printed with soy-based inks. The whole product is independently certified Carbon Neutral by ClimatePartner — emissions offset from raw material to disposal.

Ethiaspire toddler toothpaste is deliberately unflavoured. Sweet flavours can distract from learning that toothpaste is for brushing, not eating — and they encourage swallowing. The neutral taste helps toddlers learn to spit and build proper brushing habits from the start.
